Kindermusik

Kindermusik is the world’s leading provider of music-based education for children from birth through age seven.  We use the power and joy of music-making to help children learn and grow during the years most critical to brain development.  Since 1978, Kindermusik has helped millions of children around the world build a strong foundation for a lifetime love of learning.

Our classes are facilitated by Ms. Julie Chabola of Kindermusik at Western Reserve.  We host Levels 1, 2, and 3 in our group education space. Check our schedule below for current and upcoming class times.

Level 1

0-18 months

Give your little one extra confidence to move, groove, and speak! Level 1 classes allow young toddlers to explore new movements, objects, and words, while learning basic music concepts. Families also discover how to create better daily routines with music.

Level 2

18 mos-3 yrs

Older toddlers have tons of energy and curiosity. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.

Level 3

3.5 – 5 yrs

Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, self-control, and more. Parents and caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

FAQ

Does a parent or guardian need to attend class with the child?

Levels 1 and 2 require a parent to be present for the full length of the class (45 min.)  For Level 3, students will attend independently for the first 30 minutes. Parents or guardians then join class for the remaining 15 minutes.

Can I bring another child to one of the classes?

If you need to bring a sibling or friend to class (snow day, no school, etc.), he/she may attend for a $10 sibling fee per class. This should be arranged with the studio or teacher in advance. You may also bring a sibling in lieu of a makeup class for your enrolled child, but also, please schedule this in advance.

What if we have to miss one of the classes?

If possible, please let us know if you are going to miss class. We want to help maintain consistency for your child and provide convenience for you schedule, while preventing overcrowding in your child’s class. It may be possible to attend a different session of the class in order to make up the absence. You must notify the teacher or a staff member to ensure there is an open spot in that class on that date. There are no refunds or cancellations after the first week of class

Can we attend a trial lesson before we commit to a session?

Yes. You may attend one class on a “preview” basis. There is a fee per child. The price depends upon which session (Falls, Spring, Summer) you will be attending. Please contact us to schedule a trial.
