Ready to take the stage? Our Rock School program brings musicians together to rehearse, collaborate, and perform live as a real band. Whether you’re a teen looking to rock out after school or an adult eager to revive your inner performer, we’ve got a place for you.

About the Program

Led by experienced musician and educator Nick White, Chagrin Valley Music’s Rock School is a group performance experience for teen and adult musicians. Participants are placed in bands based on skill level, instrument, and musical taste. Each band rehearses weekly with Nick to build a setlist, develop group chemistry, and refine their stage presence.

Instruments & Roles

Our rock bands typically feature:

• Drummer – the heartbeat of the group

• Singer – bring the emotion and lead the show

• Lead Guitar – riffs, solos, and driving energy

• Bass Guitar – groove and rhythm support

Live Performances at Crooked Pecker Brewing Company

All Rock School bands perform live at Crooked Pecker Brewing Company—a fun, relaxed venue that supports local music and provides the perfect stage for students to show off their progress. These live gigs are the highlight of each session and an incredible confidence booster!

Who Can Join?

• Teens (Ages ~14–17) – intermediate players ready to play in a band setting

• Adults (18+) – rediscover your passion for rock or challenge yourself with group performance

All participants should have some experience on their instrument and be ready to rehearse with a team.
